Other than I'm going through the house and alternating between exasperation that it's still three weeks before we accomplish what we've decided and pure panic as you look at what needs to be done in three weeks time. Such a weird feeling to live in such a state of flux. We got official approval on the house today and it's going on time to start down the list of turning things off/on. Took a boatload of stuff to the dry cleaners to be cleaned before it's packed. Dh has decided to go to school and get a certification done before we move. Necessary yes - but throws a bunch of crap on me.

General Observances
1. It's been COLD. I froze at Abigail's soccer practice. It's supposed to be late April.
2. 3 weeks can be so LONG and so SHORT at the same time! That's all I have left to weed out stuff before we hit the road. Then again - I'm ready to hit the road!
3. People can be cruel. I've observed three instances of animal abuse this past week. Some people should not be allowed to have animals.
4. The horrible events at Virginia Tech sends shivers of grief down my spine. My heartfelt condolences to all involved.
5. I luff all my Dawgs!

The Countdown
Ok - here we go. We are down to less than a month. Tick tock. I've been weeding through the bigger stuff. Now it's time to get down to the nitty gritty. I did give in and buy some boxes. There's a marvelous place online with great prices and free shipping. The Mover said all my scrap stuff can stay in the tubs and drawers they are in as long as I shrink wrap them so I got some of that too.
I'd say the basement is going to be the biggest pain in the ass - even after all the tossing and moving we did when we had half the basement finished.
It will be some interesting days ...
